The summit of Sinanitsa is 2516 metres hight. It is located in the Pirin Mountains, to the west from the main ridge. In a clear day one could see most of the other summits in the mountain.
Going to the top takes about an hour if you start from Sinanitsa hut. The trail starts from the left bank of the lake and is marked with stone pyramids. It is steep and the terrain is rough that's why going up takes between 40 minutes and an hour and a bit depending on how fit you are. At the top you have two options. One is to retrace your steps back to the lake and the hut. The other is to continue to the east along a narrow trail which follows the ridge around the cirque and leads to Sinanishka porta (Sinanitsa gate). If you decide to go that way be careful not to confuse it with the path that is going down along the southwest ridge of Sinanitsa.
Going to the top and back is a route suitable for people who have at least moderate trekking skills (especially if the weather isn't good). There are several places along the way where one could slip and fall badly.
