The meander of river Arda near Patmos is located in the Eastern Rhodopes, to the west of the town of Kardzhali. If you want to get there by car you have to drive from Kardzhali to the town of Ardino (or vice versa) until you reach the turning for the villages of Mlechino and Borovitsa (17 km away from both towns). Follow the road towards Borovitsa and after you pass the village you will see a big crossroad. Continue straight (there is a road sign showing the way to the village of Suhino). 2.7 km after you you will reach the destination.
