Gorno Gazeisko Lake is a glacial lake in the Pirin Mountains. It is located in the Gazeiski Cirque, between the peaks Golyam Gazey and Polezhan, at an altitude of 2,642 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest lakes in the mountain, approximately 250 meters long, 60 meters wide, and 3–4 meters deep. It is located within the "Yulen" Reserve. The trail connecting the "Demyanitsa" hut and the "Bezbog" hut passes by the lake. Since 2017, this trail has been one of the two permitted routes through the reserve (Order No. RD - 618/15.09.2017 of the Minister of Environment and Water).
The hike to Gorno Gazeisko Lake from the "Bezbog" hut includes climbing Polezhan Peak, takes about 3 hours, and covers approximately 700 meters of elevation gain. From the peak, there is a short descent over rocks to the saddle between Polezhan and Malak Polezhan, where the trail branches off to the right.
The route from the "Demyanitsa" hut takes about 3.5 hours, almost entirely uphill, with a total elevation gain of approximately 800 meters. The trail ascends alongside Gazeiska Water and crosses the Gazeiski Cirque.
