In clear weather, Valyavishki Chukar Peak is a fantastic spot to watch both the sunrise and the moonrise, emerging from behind the picturesque silhouettes of Dzhangala, Momini Dvori, Kralev Dvor, and Malka Kamenitsa. The view is breathtaking not only to the east but in all directions. From the peak, many of Pirin's most famous and beautiful summits can be seen, including the distant Vihren and Kutelo. Beyond the Razlog Basin, to the north, the ridges of the Rila Mountains stretch into the horizon.
Valyavishki Chukar Peak is located in Northern Pirin, along the main ridge, northwest of the Tevno Ezero shelter. From the shelter, there are two routes to reach the peak. The first trail begins behind the shelter and ascends to the saddle between Momini Dvori Peak and Valyavishki Chukar, then turns left, leading to the summit in about 20 minutes. The trail is unmarked but follows the ridge or stays close to it, making navigation straightforward.
The second option to climb Valyavishki Chukar from the shelter is to head toward Mozgovishka Porta. At the western end of Tevno Ezero, a faint trail starts and ascends steeply to the shallow saddle between Valyavishki Chukar and an unnamed peak rising southwest above Mozgovishka Porta. Once on the ridge, the trail becomes more distinct, leading to the summit of Valyavishki Chukar, which stands at 2,664 meters.
